In 2005, after a period of
research, study, and prayer, Session approved the redirection of the
2005 Per Capita funds... Because the decision to redirect Per
Capita funds was made based on grevious concerns within the PC(USA),
the organizations designated to receive those funds were carefully
selected because of their efforts within the PC(USA) to restore its
