What we'd like you to know about PW...
We meet once a month to study and pray for local and foreign missions of our church. We grow in studying God's Word. We celebrate our Golden Agers, and have an annual Christmas party.
Interested in quilting? Our Quilters meet every Tuesday morning and offer on-the-job training plus have a pot-luck lunch (see Dorcas Circle/Quilters below).
We are sisters in Christ and we would like you to join us to study, learn, pray, and fellowship together. All women of the church are members!
If you have any questions or would like to visit a circle meeting (nursery is provided for the Thursday morning group -- see Lydia Circle below), please contact the church office.

Our PW Circles
Circles originally started as women assembled together to support mission, having a heart for supporting God's work. Over the years this concept has taken other forms, many of which are very good, but we should not lose sight of the founding purpose to support missions. We help fulfill the Great Commission when we give of our time and resources to spreading the Gospel.

Naomi - Meets on the first Monday of each month, 7:15pm in the church parlor. (Donna Reist, Chair)
Lydia - Meets on the second Thursday of the month, 9am at Shirley Craig's. (Shirely Craig, Chair)
Sarah - Meets on the second Wednesday of each month, 1pm in the church parlor. (Pauline Duck and Edna Lowe, Co-Chairs)
Dorcas (Quilters) - Meets every Tuesday 9am - 2pm.  At noon they take time for a potluck lunch.
Members of this circle meet in the church parlor each week to work on quilting projects. They happily welcome new members and offer on-the-job training! Quilting is done for church members and others in the community, for a fee dependent on the size of the quilt top and the intricacy of quilting pattern. Money earned from the quilting projects is kept in a separate Presbyterian Women's saving account and spent for church improvements at the discretion of these women.

Helping Hands - Helping Hands is NOT a circle…they are women in our congregation who, because of their jobs or obligations at home, are unable to belong to a circle. However, they can give of their time for a few hours to help when extra hands are needed, and enjoy the fellowship of working with other Christians to help with dinners, weddings, receptions, and baked goods.
